Description:

Featuring The area's only complete wax collection of American Presidents...

Featuring The area's only complete wax collection of American Presidents and their first ladies as well as a beautiful gift shop. The Hall of Presidents is located across the street from the Gettysburg Tour Center and next to the main entrance of the National Cemetery. It is incredible to be able to see what our Presidents really looked like and to hear the words attributed to them as if the words came from the very lips of the figures themselves. The Hall of First Ladies present authentic 1/3 size reproductions of the First Ladies in their inaugural gowns.

I'm giving the Hall of Presidents a 4 STAR RATING, For the most part it is suited for elementary school children who are first being learning about the Presidents for the first time. A dated gift shop greets you when you first walk-in and some very friendly owners and docents. Admission is $7.50 (adults), $3.50 (12-6) and free for (5... More

I love the history of presidents but this was really nothing special. If you are trying to teach children about presidential history, it might be worth it. Otherwise, save your money to use elsewhere in town.

My grandson went into the museum with his grandfather and when they came out, Trey had decided that his report for his school project would be written about this museum and everything inside! Grandma's decision to travel through Gettysburg worked!!

The First Ladies were presented as miniature models with a description of each Inaugural Ball gown. There was no substantial historical recognition of the many accomplishments of these important women. Given the historical attraction of Gettysburg, I was shocked and disappointed with this museum. I would not recommend this attraction.

If you care to visit it, at least do it in the summer to cool off, as this attraction offers nothing of value. Badly costumed mannequins, bad impersonations badly recorded and a lighting system that would do your basement proud. Avoid.

This was another inexpensive attraction that we were glad we visited; very well done display of all U.S. Presidents with short narrative from each, great overview of our country's leadership over the years. First Ladies display is mostly cosmetic but still fun to go through.

This was not a place that we would have normally thought to stop. Through the generosity of another family of travelers we received free tickets. What an excellent surprise! We enjoyed the brief historical overview of information provided. Definitely a place that was outdated and not using the most up to date technology. Although, the trip was worth it for... More

Needs an update. The sound system is a bit weak. The early presidents are believable (more so than the newer; JFK to Obama). People were very nice and we enjoyed the idea, but it was a little tough to hear what was being said at times. First Lady section was pretty boring for the boys. Not very expensive and a... More

Not one of the wax figures looked like the president they represent! We felt like this was a total rip-off! There are too many other good attractions here to waste your time here. The brochure and what we saw were two entirely different things.
