The zoo was free after dark for Christmas lights event. There is a lake by the zoo. In the summer, it has paddle boat for rent.

It was great weather for October and I took kids to this place. It was decorated with pumpkins, a lot of nice statues and benches, great entertainment for kids, nice size, interesting animals, looking very healthy, trains to raid and good choices of restaurants.
