Not sure how someone with so little formal education - other than he could read and apparently did so a lot - got so far and in so many different areas! Nice exhibit with some parts clearly targeted at younger ones, but adults had a...More

This is $5 adult admission. The museum is hands on and would be great for teens and young children. The printing press demonstration is definitely worth seeing as well. You will need about 45 minutes to make it worthwhile.

This is a please touch museum and is chucked full of activites. This was my daughters favorite stop on our itinerary. She is 13 and loves to touch and explore so this was a great stop for her. Lots to read for the adults also.

Franklin was an amazing man - brilliant with diverse interests. The Museum does a good job of guiding us through his long life, and leaving us totally impressed with him.

Most people don’t even know the museum is there behind Fanklin’s print shop & post office. Great, hands on exhibits about the diversity of Franklin’s inventions. Something for all ages from young readers to adult. Great for inquisitive teens!

The museum offers a history of a true Renaissance man. Scientist, inventor and businessman. Nice interactive exhibits of his life. The museum is run by the National Park Service. Also part of the park is a replica of his print shop.

BJ was an extraordinary fellow; politician, diplomat, inventor and a social revolutionary. He must also have been huge fun to know. This excellent museum, although on the small side, brings America's First Genius to life through a series of fun exhibits, puzzles, videos and commentaries....More

Not long. I'd say maybe 1 or 1.5h. It's a small museum.
