Great rail trail!!! Paved (most of the way). You can bike East, all the way into Philadelphia, and/or West. Connects with some other rail trails too. Mostly flat. Good parking off of Trooper in Valley forge, with restrooms too. Great pedestrian bridge to Valley Forge...More

This path is easily accessible from the Museum and runs along the river. Lots of people using it, beautiful scenery and good police patrols. They were doing some construction - so double check before you go.

We were looking for a quick scenic walk and the thought of a boardwalk extended over the Schuylkill River sounded good. It leaves much to be desired. The view is of the railroad tracks and freight cars on one side and the expressway across the...More

Depends on what you are looking for. I thought this would be a walk with scenery along the river but it is not. It is a walkway over the river but nothing to look at. It did feel like a safe place to stroll in...More

Check with SEPTA which is the regional bus and train. I believe there is a bus between Philly and Valley Forge/King of Prussia.
