I adore Boathouse Row. I lived just a few blocks away many years back, and weather permitting walked here daily. One of those perfect Philly places just behind the art museum.

Location of the annual Skimmer row races and a pretty spot along the river. These boat houses have history, and you can see them from the Expressway.

Don't expect much. It looks nice from across the road. I found it difficult to get to a place where I could park the car for a moment and have a look.
