Beautiful gardens.

Beautiful grounds, very peaceful for walking but never too crowded. My kids love the big birds nest. Close to chestnut hill.

I've heard about the arboretum from a friend and was excited to see it for myself. My 12y.o. and I went on a Sunday afternoon, which probably had a lot to do with the amount of people with rambunctious children. I am a mother of 2 so my expectations are pretty realistic. However, the behavior of some visitors took the... More

Great place to clear your mind and restore energy. Tree houses and tree branch sculptures were bigger than I imagined from website. Fernery is not to be missed.

What a variety of trees, and plants. Just walk around at your own pace and enjoy. A great model train layout.

I had a day to myself when in Philadelphia for work. I decided to venture out to these gardens, and they were wonderful. A very peaceful and beautiful place to visit in the city. I always enjoy seeing the plant life in different environments.

We love to take our 2 year old here. He can safely run around, check out the garden railway, and play in the tree adventure. There are also storytimes that we have gone too which are held outside in nice weather.

Morris is a treasured arboretum in the area and I like to go one or two times yearly. The holiday train show is fun for both adults and children. It's fairly expensive to enter and well worth the experience.

This extensive property is beautifully landscaped, with an education/welcome center, gift shop, and varied sections of woods and gardens. It is best enjoyed on foot (there is a trolley tour, but it is offered on a limited basis. Most of the property is easy to explore on a wide, flat, paved pathway. Within the gardens, however, there are steps with handrails,... More

Just steps away from Philadelphia you can retreat to nature in all its beauty. And for $16 per adult (for the day), it was well worth the price. My wife and I meandered through the gardens, looked out over the giant bird nest, and visited the awesome fern house. Everything was labeled, so it made for a wonderful learning experience.... More
