Don’t expect to spend an abundant amount of time here. There’s a line to take a picture with the statue (which we opted to skip because the line was too long) ... the steps are full of people. Not something I’d do again.

The Rocky statue is located at ground level. The 72 stairs are a series of levels which allows for resting while climbing them. At the top waits a set of his foot prints for another photo and a lovely view of the Geroge Washington monument.

We had our Uber drop us here on the way to Eastern State Penitentiary since we had some time to kill. My husband loves the Rocky movies so I was glad, for his sake, that we were able to get over there.

This never gets old and watching people line up to do the pose with the statue is great entertainment.

At street level in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Tourists love this place and if your healthy enough you can climb the steps.

My 7 year old ran up the steps with my husband right behind him. They had a great time. I didn't take them on myself because it was raining.
