Fun to be photographed by the stature if you are a Rocky fan. Nothing more spectacular than that. It is really a diversion from the main and truly marvelous attraction, the Museum.

Best part of my trip. My driver took me by the steps and statue so I could run them before I left. What a treat!

The Rocky Statue itself is much bigger than I imagined. There was only a small line but picked up pose ideas when it was our turn. The steps to the Museum of Art were being decorated for the Thanksgiving Parade but we still managed a run to the top! You can't miss it.

We have to put our hands up and admit that we have never seen one of the "Rocky" films. Nevertheless, it is a fine monument placed adjacent to the famed Steps. With a long queue waiting to be photographed striking the pose, we are clearly missing out. On our return to the UK we will watch Rocky 1 at an... More

I was a very little girl when Rocky came out, so it was my initial exposure to "modern" Philadelphia. Of course I learned about the founding of the USA there, but to see it it was via Rocky running up the steps of the Museum of Art with City Hall behind him. To go see the statue and do the... More

Just located at the bottom to the right of the steps. Makes a great picture. There can be queues at busy times but well worth the short wait.

Anyone that has visited Philadelphia has to run up the Philadelphia Art Museum steps at least one time. If you have not seen the movie "Rocky" if possible view it. It will show that Rocky runs up the steps and shows a great view of the Franklin Parkway. It is a photo op. By the way, do visit the museum.... More

Iconic statue at the Philadelphia Musem of Art, depicting the fictional charater Rocky. The Art Musem is a better venue. Lots of Steps.
