The piazza is a fun gathering spot. Sometimes the Phillies games are broadcast on a big screen there and they often offer concerts. There are a few bars right on the piazza and most have outdoor seating. Nice venue, but best visited in the summer. Free lot is really close by too.

As I write this, there is a free concert going on at the Piazza so the place is packed which is great for local businesses and a good vibe during daylight hours. Unfortunately, more people means more money which leads to crimes of varying degrees. People opt not to wait in line for the porta potties or use proper facilities... More

The good- see up and coming bands on a summer afternoon for free. The bad- Do it with about 2000 of your best friends. The rest- the Piazza seems to be a magnet for the young, tragically hip and Caucasian in an otherwise mixed city. If you are looking for a more refined experience that includes alcohol and flush toilets... More

Went there for a free Radio 104.5 concert. Fun and great bands but crazy. I hate to say it, but I think I'm getting to old for the mosh pit. Great venue for free concerts, especially with the jumbo tv screen front and center. Easy to get to and if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks you can... More

This is a very relaxed atmosphere to hang out in. It is a modern living complex, surrounded by shops and restaurants, with a large stage and jumbo outdoor television in the center of it all. It's not a bad day just to hang outside, pick up something to eat, browse the various stores and chill out. On their main website... More
