We went for 4 1/2 tour our guide was Joseph. Great tour brilliantly presented. Stopper in Italian market for lunch and finished in Reading terminal market. Beer. Knackered. Great fun and very interesting.

To be honest the stated 4½ hour duration of the tour didn’t really register when we booked it – the longest walking tour I’ve ever been on was 3 hours, so we thought the 4½ hours might be a misprint or something. But it wasn’t!...More

Tour was a tiny group (5) so maneuvering was easy. It was a dreary day in Philadelphia but the quality of the tour brightened up things. Marianne gave a nice overview of the significant areas of Old City and how it has been repopulated after...More

My friends and I️ had a blast with Jenn. Her tour was very informative and delicious. We were grateful to learn about a part of Philadelphia’s history that is maybe not that well known. The food was amazing, a little bit of everything that Chinatown...More

We loved the walking tour with Marianne! She is very knowledgeable and we ended up loving Ben Franklin as much as she does!

Great experience in Philly with our tour guide Joseph! We did the the Independence Mall Tour. Very interesting review of Philly's history in the time of the revolution combined with non broadly known stories about the founding fathers of the US. Highly recommended!

Well researched and engaging tales of the beginnings of this South Philly area highlighted by stops at the most delicious items of 9th Street. Interviews with some of the owners of these shops. Not to be missed by visitors or Philadelphia natives!

Joseph, the guide, really knows his stuff, and he's fun. The tour is not at all physically taxing -- you move about Logan Circle while Joseph tells you interesting stories about the local history. The stories are interesting, and you can tell that Joseph likes...More

As others stated, it's free, with the option to tip. Unless you hated it and quit before the end, you should tip the guide. My suggestion would be at least $10/person, up to $40 or so.

We had private tours with the company and were very pleased! Our two-three hour private tours were a little over $200. Well worth it! Some in our group also tipped the guides.
