Not exactly the stuff of Washington during the Revolution, but you can't get a better view of Philly than using the ferry. We use it to get to Adventure Aquarium. The only drawback is that they don't let you on till 5 minutes before launch....More

Great ferry ride to take for a concert across the river. Easy hop on from Penns Landing and no hassles of cars or taxis. Loved the night views of Philly when coming back from the show!

Round trip fare is covered by the Philadelphia Pass. We used it to go to Battleship NJ and Adventure Aquarium. It is a 15 minute walk to the ship and a 5 minute walk to the aquarium. The ferry only runs every hour - on...More

Given that it goes to Camden, it really is the best way to go, if you're staying in Philly. It's a nice ride, although I have a personal affection for boats. Normally, there are ferries to Camden on the hour, to Philly on the half-hour,...More

We took the ferry from Philadelphia to visit the Adventure Aquarium. Most visitors don't know until they get to the riverfront that the ferry only departs every hour, so it helps to plan accordingly. During our weekday visit, the ferry left the Philadelphia side on...More
