This statue in the rotunda of the Franklin Institute is larger than life, and it is beautiful. This hall and the white marble statue is a fitting memorial to a great inventor, patriot and statesman.

On our visit to the Franklin institute you pass through. It’s a nice statue in a prominent place. I preferred the museum in the historic district.

How cool to be reminded of Ben Franklin's achievements! This is an interesting place. Yet I was struck by the fact that no one ever identified his first wife; and that his second was only considered a wife by virtue of common law.

Similar to the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials in DC, this is Philadelphia's Founding Father memorial. It's part of the Franklin Institute complex.
