After living in this area for almost 40 years, i discovered this car collection not long ago. Unbelievable. There are some beautiful cars presented here, and you can walk thru the collection and get right up next to them. The facility itself is not that...More

One of the best car museums period. Emphasis on vintage race cars. Priceless cars that couldn't be duplicated today.

This museum is located outside of Center City Philadelphia, so if you are visiting, it would be good to go just before or just after your time in the city. The building is in an area closer to the airport, nestled between airport and car...More

Anyone who loves cars or racing should visit this museum. I especially loved that the cars aren't all in pristine condition. You get a feel for their history by seeing all them in their natural condition. However, seeing a fully restored car takes your breath...More

We go here a lot with the kids. They love looking at the cars and the museum space is great! They have live demonstrations throughout the summer that are really worth watching.

The Simeone museum is a chance for friends and family to bond over the history of automobile racing! There is no auto museum on the planet that has a better collection of milestone racing automobiles and yet this museum actually provides running demonstrations of three...More

As a woman, whose husband is an auto fanatic, I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this place. But there were descriptions next to most of the cars that shared the history and stats, which in my mind really helped create the story behind the cars,...More

There's no extra admission charge those day. There are usually 3 or 4 cars chosen from the collection that have something in common. Dr. Simeone discusses their significance and then the cars are started and run around the... More

I drove there, but I think you can take the trolley 36 (subway-surface, Westbound) from Center City or 30th Street, and then walk. Check the route on the SEPTA website, it's very good. It is out of the way, but worth it!
