Great time, Great place, Great memories

Loved the Christmas market set up with a great ambiance of songs, art and novelties. The ice skating rink in front of this magnificent building was the icing on the cake.

Beautiful building, rich in history. Go on the top and get a wonderful view of Philadelphia and around. Go to the shop and you find good ideas of gifts.

I was in Philadelphia for a conference, and by luck got a hotel just down from the City Hall. The building is spectacular, both in the day and night. It is gorgeous inside and out. Sculpture and art abound here, and William Penn looks commandingly from the top of the building over the city and state he helped create. A... More

I have been to city hall many times; to attend events, usually around Christmas time. I always see something new; usually new sculpture and carvings into the building, interior or exterior. This is truly a gem, and not to be missed.

City Hall and William Penn surveying his city from up high are an imposing sight for locals and visitors alike; a friend recently inquired whether the panoply of sculptures in City Hall were the folly of a prolific artist or whether there was a Philadelphia narrative that tied together people, animals, plants, ships, books and many other emblems displayed here.... Day One of our trip to Philadelphia we came out of the 13th / Market metro station and up there on our left was the iconic 2nd French Empire tower with Wm Penn atop. It was really exciting and made us know we were in Philadelphia. The structure is, of course, iconic, but it is also supremely beautiful from all... More

We only saw a few places in the square. The building itself is quite impressive and well worth the visit.
