I absolutely loved the presentation - simple yet elegant and impactful. Each piece accompanied by a brief description of background. Opportunity to participate in 12noon tour made all the difference for me in understanding Rodin's inspirations - I agree with previous review that it would...More

I loved the Rodin Museum in Paris, so when I read about this one, I had to go. It did not disappoint. There was great information about the art and Rodin himself. I learned a lot at this museum. Also, the donation I paid for...More

I decided to go to the Rodin museum on a beautiful but hot day. It was a great thing to do since it would mainly be inside with some of the work outside. I got there just in time for a free tour. The guide...More

Between the Barnes and the Art Museum it's an easy walk. Nice and cool inside with many of the classic Rodin sculptures you can see elsewhere but all the better for the focus only on Rodin.

Lovely place. Love the fact that some of the works are outside and that it's all free entrance. The idea is to expose as many people as possible to a bit of culture and Rodin's works. You are encouraged to leave a donation, if you...More

Although we did not have the time to tour the artwork within, the exterior was quite compelling with the Thinker and the tortured Gates of Hell.

Take time in the library to sit and read. See the amazing sculptures - each with a story. Examine the exterior Gates of Hell and reflecting pool. A great spot to relax in the shade.

This is a smaller museum associated with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. If you purchase admission to the main museum, you also gain entrance to the Rodin Museum, which is nearby. The Thinker and The Burghers of Calais are outside, and The Gates of Hell...More

This came as a recommendation and it was a great suggestion. The donation is suggested and no pressure as to the amount. Can freely reflect and take pics. Easy to get to on the Phlash.

Honestly an hour is probably enough, but personally, sitting on the steps outside and just relaxing as it is a beautiful setting, might tack on some additional time :)
