Yep, the Gates of Hell are here...you found them! Our tour guide told us they are most popular backdrop in the city for wedding couples photo's! One unexpected treat here is that they offer free sketch pads and pencils throughout the exhibit. We saw several people trying art their artistic abilities, sketching the sculptures.

The Rodin Museum is a very tranquil space that enhances the appreciation of the beautiful pieces by Rodin. There is also enough information about Rodin and the sculptures that you feel well informed. There are also large pieces in the garden outside, including the Burghers of Calais. One of the three original casts of his famous The Gates of Hell... More

I never realized how many amazing pieces Rodin had created. It wasn't very crowded, and it was nicely spread out.

This is a small museum dedicated to Rodin. It has copies of many of his works and a sculpture garden as well. Conveniently located between Independence Hall and the Museum of Art, it's well worth a short stop. Admission is included in your Museum of Art entrance, so do it afterwards.

The Philly Rodin Museum contains some interesting works, but it small compared to the Rodin Museum in Paris. But, if you cannot get to Paris, the Philly Rodin Museum gives you a flavor of Rodin's works. Plus, it is located in the same general area as the Barnes Foundation and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Admissions is included in the... More

This is a great little museum where you can view Rodin's work (many were copies) up close. Photography is allowed. The gardens are beautiful. Wish I had the time but would be a great combo to do with Barnes Collection.

While small the museum has some beautiful Sculptures. The staff is very friendly and informed about the pieces. Take your time to really look and study them. Especially the Gates of Hell piece.
