Serene little church surrounded by the bustling 21st century. Go in and imagine the founding fathers praying for our fledgling nation.

Wow! Gorgeous old church. They told us NOT to step on people's graves/names, but it's hard to when they are down the entire aisle going up/down to front of church! SMALL PEWS; big people can't sit in them...FYI only.

This is an awesome church to visit. The historical value alone is great. The surrounding gardens were very peaceful for us to stop and rest for awhile during our walking tour of Philly.

We wanted to go see Ben Franklin's grave but didn't want to pay the $3.00 to get in. Saw it walking down the sidewalk, new it was his because people were standing by it.

This church whose Founding Fathers are quite literally the Foundation of the Church (they are buried in and around the building) is such a wonderful place. You can sit in the exact pew where George Washington and other famous Americans sat when they attended services...More

This is a lovely little old church, and on the day I visited there was a little Farmer's Market outside which was on a Wednesday afternoon. The produce was excellent, particularly a homemade oat and raisin cookie I purchased from Big Sky Bread. The church...More

I don't have an exact address, but as you can see in previous posts, Google is your best friend! As for touring it on your own, yes! I don't recall if they even have formal tours, but there was a caretaker (or a very nice... More
