Biggest farmers market ever.

You can find almost any food here. Good pricing and unique atmosphere. Make sure to get a Millers pretzel. Best pretzel I have ever had.

This is a fascinating place. Interesting spot to people watch. On a Saturday at midday it was swamped. Too much noise and too many people for me. The food was OK but pricey. Finding seating is a real challenge.

A kaleidoscope of eating and shopping experiences await you at The Reading Terminal. It is a place that is filled with everything we love about the food in our city. Philadelphia has the food of cultures from all over the world and we have our own creations. You will find in the Reading Terminal food items ranging from the raw... More

Our visit to the Reading Terminal was totally amazing! There are so many places to purchase both prepared food and specialty food market items. Do be prepared as the place is EXTREMELY busy! If you can put up with the crowds it is totally worth the effort. Also, plan to go and eat either breakfast or lunch as they are... More

I was on my way to the train and it was lunchtime. Although there are some touristy aspects to this public market, the main areas are full of various food vendors, from Italian to Chinese to seafood, etc. Enjoyed a nice lunch and the atmosphere before heading off.

Hands down, one of the finest city markets in the nation. A ton of eating places with a killer variety of foods. It gets crowded at lunch, but if you hit it after 1:30 like we did, it's less crowded. It's also a great place to get a cross section of Philly. If you can't find what you want to... More

Full of colors and smells, this is THE place to pay a visit if you enjoy variety of choice! From the classical American diner to fresh fruits, you will also pass greek, indian, and candy shops. It's worth a detour even just to have a walk inside! Close to Chinatown's bus station.

This can be a space quite full of people shopping, eating, drinking. The many vendors have a variety of goods. They are busy at lunch time, so if you are visiting I might suggest trying to avoid those times if you do not like crowds.

This is the number one tourist destination in Philadelphia...not Independence Hall. Not the art museums. This! A big indoor market with endless opportunities to eat fried things and be called called "hon." Philly is a truly working-class town and the vendors make this market a working-class stronghold, so that's why it may be worth a visit. The visitors are made... More
