Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everytime an out of town guest visits the island, I bring them here. You can walk into the lighthouse and view the old frenzel lens. There's a little souvenir shop. On the path to the lighthouse you can see the huge hidden canons that are camouflaged under the hills. Both kids and adults love it. It makes for a joyful afternoon.

While exploring Whidbey Island, we found this charming light house. It was a pleasant hour or so stop along the way. The lighthouse itself is lovingly restored and quite interesting. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. It is nice to be able to say that these two senior climbed the spiral staircase to the top and were rewarded with beautiful views. Thank you to those who maintain this little gem.

Talking to the volunteer gentleman in the lighthouse was very informative and pleasant. Thank you Sir. The light house is well kept and is impressive to walk through. The whole staff is very helpful. Great place to visit.

The website does not reflect when the lighthouse is closed. Drove 4 hours to visit it on a windy/rainy day only to find it was closed. Someone needs to do a better job keeping the website updated.

A great view from the top of the lighthouse and surrounding tour of the fort. Well maintained but a little cramped for those with limited mobility.

I found a passport of lighthouses. This Admiralty Head Lighthouse was well worth the find and obtaining a stamp. I took a ferry to Whidbey Island then walked to find the lighthouse through forests and fields. Very worthwhile. It is open to visitors to see how they lived in the lighthouse then, climb the tower or visit the gift shop. The views of Puget Sound are just majestic. Trees and flowers in the area are lovely in the spring as well.

We visited this beautiful little lighthouse early on a Sunday morning. Unfortunately we were too early and had to leave before it opened for tours. Parking is available very close to the lighthouse, but you need a Washington State Parks pass. If you don't already have one you can purchase a daily one at the parking area.

This is a decent place but there are better Lighthouses out there. Being a photographer, I pay attention to the location and size of lighthouse; to be able to capture a great shot of it. This lighthouse fails in both. May be it has other significance that I am not aware of. It was closed when we went there, probably climbing it would have given a better view of fort Casey. But otherwise the lighthouse in itself is just Okay!

It is a nice place for a walk. The lighthouse is beautiful and saw some deer wandering around the area.

It was a nice park, and kept clean, thought I think 10 dollars to take a quick peek is a bit steep, so unless you plan on making a day of it, I would not bother.

What days and hours is the lighthouse open to climb to the top?
Also, can you get a U.S. Lighthouse Passport stamp for this lighthouse at the lighthouse?
Thank you!
