We had a great time fishing at Lake Mary. The lake had recently been stocked and we had learned from Rick (at Rick’s tackle shop “Hope It Floats”) that the lakes are stocked now with larger Alpers. We each caught several fish 2.5-3 lbs. and...More

Very pretty with easy access from the town of Mammoth Lakes during the summer. Lake was full and not crowded at the end of May. No fish hitting...too early in the season, I think! Pokanobe Marina offers rentals of kayaks, pedal boats, SUPs.

This was the first place we spent time, the water was cold and refreshing. Fishing was good, and the water fall was spectacular!

our family with two kids really enjoyed the view around Mary Lake when we took the road. We stopped several times for taking pictures and having a moment to capture all the beautiful scenes around the lake on the way.

Only Tamarack owned and operated by mammoth mountain has a view of twin lakes. None of them are actually hotels as one would assume with amenities and 24 hour service, though they are cabins- if you’re looking for a hotel... More

We hiked on Lake Mary Road in the snow! Mammoth got so much snow this winter, so I imagine there still could be snow at the higher elevations. In late May, I think the roads will be open. You may want to check the mammoth... More
