You will feel a little out of place if you are doing anything other than fishing. Beautiful spot. My daughter and son in law went out on their paddleboat. They both felt a bit uncomfortable.

2 adults and 2 teenagers for an hour on Lake Mary today was great fun and the most beautiful setting. The lake is cold and clear. The mountains make a beautiful backdrop.

The whole place was great for photography. I used a 12-24mm lens to great advantage, but mid range and telephoto also used. We went in the afternoon when the light was perfect.

We went to Lake Mary multiple times during our stay at Mammoth, because it was just so beautiful. It was also easy to find parking around the lake and fish.
