Awesome weekend

Even though Saturday was extremely crowded (MLK WE), we were enjoying a couple feet fresh powder, 3 bluebird days in a row.

I visited mammoth for the first time this weekend and it is great! The mountains and trees and beautiful. There is something for everyone. My husband loves skiing. I took a cross country ski lesson and snow shoe tour.

This was our first time skiing at Mammoth and it is a fantastic place. We were there during one of the busiest weeks of the year (12/26-1/2) and there were no crowds. Friendly staff in yellow jackets were everywhere and eager to give advice or direction. It was all organized like a clockwork. Above all, the mountain is beautiful, snow... More

I have skied several places and Mammoth continues to impress. It has a great variety of terrain, great snow, updated facilities, great options for lodging and access, and beautiful scenery. But I must say at $155 for a full day lift ticket, I have to question the value. Make sure you purchase your tickets at least 7 days in advance... More

Great snow, beautiful mountain, but.... Way overpriced lift tickets Ridiculously overcrowded Woefully inadequate parking Antiquated lift system Charmless on-slope restaurants Do yourself a favour and ski somewhere, anywhere, else.

Snow is fantastic. Staff are helpful. The only thing that makes mammoth less attractive to tourists is the lack of fine dining and upscale hotels. But for pure skiing/snowboarding it is first class

In the past, we always went to the Main Lodge, the Canyon Lodge, or June Ski resort for skiing. We learnt that Eagle also belongs to Mammoth Ski Resorts and tried it this Christmas. In spite on google it says it opens at 8am but the chair lifts actually started around 8:30 am while the cafeteria opens around 8am. The... More

Talk about beautiful. Skiid our lives away all day long. We didn't want to leave. So many runs so many black diamonds. Beats heavenly with a couple runs and not as much fake snow. ❤❤ we can't wait to come back. Only problem was the price of the lift ticket..

1st planned visit of the year and was greeted by one of the biggest winter storms. They had a 4-5 ft. dump overnight. Winds were high, with gusts as up to 70-80 mph. Lost my drivers license while pulling out my phone/camera to snap a shot. Considered it gone, until fossilized, especially with the storm, and reported it to Lost... More
