Mammoth provided my sister and I with a ski host, who showed us the entire mountain, shared geology facts and historical stories. The snow was great, and in this western drought year, much appreciated. Next year, we buy the Mammoth Pass. Easy to get to,...More

I've been skiing at Mammoth since the late 60's. I worked as a host for 4 seasons and continue having a season pass. It's a huge mountain with something for everyone! My grandson is currently learning to ski there, just as his dad did.

Service is always good. The red line bus gets you from town to Main Lodge in no time. For half day tickets, be at the ticket counter by 11:30am to purchase. Half day ticket allows you to be on the slopes at 12:30

A lot of intermediate groomed runs. No line ups in week days. Mild temperatures. A lot of freshly groomed runs. In good snow fall there are plenty of shutes for the adventures. Very people loaded on Sats and long weekends.

Stay wherever you want. There’s a free bus in town that has a ton of stops and that’s why you pay a tourism fee when you stay at a hotel.
