A bit too commercialized since it's beginning

I had hoped for more local artists. It was a bit hard to tell if products were handmade or imported. Expensive admission fee if considering bringing a family.

Pay to get in. Overcrowded. How much hand crafted Christmas items can you possibly need or want? This was nice to go through ONCE in my lifetime. I got free tickets from someone. Glad I didn't pay to get in.

Parking is one of the horrible things. Free, but where they have you park is what I question. There is a skating arena down the road, they have all the good parking, yet the lots are empty with warnings of "skate parking only". Other then that, inside is warm and filled with goodies. Every week there can be new crafters,... More

My family and I traveled to Bethlehem and had a very nice day. The market itself is very busy and very full. Parking is also a bit of a hike. However, everything is set up very nicely and it's easy to navigate. They have entertainment, food, demonstrations, and visits with Santa and a Peep. It was very full the day... More

First time to this elaborate display of crafts for purchase. Many vendors worked their craft (wood carving, silk scarf personalization, glass blowing) on site which was interesting to observe. Suggest arriving early in the morning because as the day went on it got more and more crowded. Watched the movie of the history of Bethlehem in the on-site movie theater... More

My family and I went to the Christkindl market in December. We started out in the town of Bethlehem because I thought that's where it was but it's actually on the other side of town. Bethlehem is a beautiful town and we've been there before so it's definitely worth checking out. The fair however was a few miles away and... More

A great place that's a lot of fun. It's very crowded, but the vendors were all great and it has a nice atmosphere.

After many years of wondering whether the entrance fee was worthwhile, I found out the answer this year-- no. First, parking is far away. The close lot is usually immediately filled and many spaces are reserved for Artsquest members. Second, the amount of vendors that are of low quality or have nothing to do with gift-giving ( replacement windows and... More

Many booths with crafts all which are relatively overpriced. To start it is $9.00 per person just to enter. There are great crafts if that is your thing. Food choices were very few and not very good from what we tried.

This was the second time we visited the market. I enjoy looking at the German nutcrackers, cookoo clocks and other glass and wooden ornaments hover the prices are outlandish. At $10-30 bucks per ornament, we're talking a small fortune to trim a tree. I thought most things were double the price that I've seen them in my travels to Germany.... More
