Furnace Creek at 214 below sea level is the lowest elevation golf course in the world. We play in March and the conditions were very good. Kip, the fellow that was running the clubhouse was great. He was outstanding in the service he provided and sets the standard on how a golf business should be operated. Our foursome had a... More

I now have the bragging rate to played the lowest elevation golf course in the world! It is not a difficult course; but it is one of the most unique course! Course condition is better than expected. The wild life around the area was surprisingly abundant. The coyotes have no shortage of attitude; they are actually very cute. It is... More

We had our last lunch in the golf course bar and wished we had found it earlier in our stay ! Tim the bar tender/ chef and waiter was excellent, coping with a busy bar and a number of food orders at the same time with a great attitude and sense of humour !!

11 years ago my husband and elder children played the back nine and a coyote stole my daughters golf ball. This time we played all 18 holes and it was great fun, the coyotes watched but didn't interfere with play. It might not be the trickiness of golf courses, but it was worth playing. Despite it being August and very... More

The golf course snack bar is open air with a view of the 18th hole. Pretty good chicken sandwich and other items available. Odd, but charming, oasis in the middle of the dessert. Course looked to be in good shape. 80 + degree day and a lot of play. Lady who waited on us was traveling with her husband who... More

Despite being in Death Valley and an elevation of -214feet below sea level. A well kept green oasis in the middle of a very arid desert. A small driving range with limits on distance......but far enough for irons. Carts available if required but a flat well kept course. Helpful professional in shop and reasonably well stocked shop...clubs available for hire... More

Playing the Furnace Creek Golf Course was not on the “must do” list during our first visit to Death Valley, but I figured if the opportunity presented itself that I would take advantage. I even did a little scouting early in our visit when I walked over to the pro shop to get info on cost and tee times. Good... More

Who would of thought Death Valley had a golf Course. There it was in the middle of the desert. Water comes from natural springs. Nice Course but no stand out holes. Greens were a little rough, don't know if they needed to be rolled or a different grass blend. Club house and Employees were terrific. I put my cell phone... More

Course was easy to get on, no tee time needed. It was surprising green and well kept given the heat (it was 100). On the second hole we were joined by a coyote. You are playing more for the lowest gold course. My husbands an avid player, and he said the course is more of a novelty. The staff was... More

Beautiful scenery on every hole but it was pricy if you take into account the condition of the course. Fairways were not too bad but a large percentage of the greens had no grass. Service was great as well as the food.
