I've never been so impressed with a venue as I am with the VOTA! There's something for everyone. It is amazing to go into these artists own homes/studios to view their products. There are SO many different types and styles of art on display and...More

Great vision but this has lost its potential. Maybe because we visited on a Thursday, we found this to be a bust. Parked and started walking, many venues closed. We viewed the web site and it listed several locations that would be open but found...More

This was one of those genuine experiences that we really enjoyed. We went on the first Saturday of August so it was really hot. We had young ones 7 & 9 plus 2 teenagers and grandpa. Not all the places were open and some closed...More

Thank you for sharing your experience! We love your description and how you value the mom and pop feel of a genuine live/work neighborhood. We also love that you explored the Village as a multi-generational family. Looking forward to your return!

A very cute community of dozens of mom and pop artisans, crafters, and holistic medicine practitioners. Each store/house is brightly painted with odd sculptures and affordable arts and crafts all over. There are a few small restaurants with good cuisine. It is NOT an overly...More

Thank you for your 5-star review! We are so happy you think it is a good thing that the Village is not overly commercialized. We think it is a good thing too! Yay for authentic art colonies!

Parking is a problem and once you park there is a lot of walking, but we had a great time. Once a month artists open their doors to the public. Many of them live in these homes. All are brightly colored and creative and the...More

Thank you for sharing your experience! We appreciate your feedback. The parking can be tricky during First Friday Artwalks, but we have plenty of street parking available in the up and coming south side of the Village on 11th St. W and 13th St. W...More

First Friday of every month is an Art Walk in this neighborhood with food places, galleries, music. Very down home feel with locals.

All sorts of galleries shops and eateries with funky decor. Especially good on first fridays when most are open and people are wandering about.

This is a great place--unusual, small, attention to detail, not to mention very good chow! It's in the arts district of Bradenton, FL, where dumpy houses have been turned into galleries, studios, and in this case, a restaurant! Old Florida at its most interesting!!

Wonderful little area just steps away from downtown Bradenton, different art for every taste, hosts welcome all into their unique little homes to sample what they have to offer. Make dinner reservations and plan to spend the evening walking around, so much to see!
