Learned a lot we didn't know about De Soto's travels while watching the short film this park presented. Just as a heads up, bring mosquito repellant if taking the walking path in June.

On the water-benches & tables. Visitor center with short video. Very clean several paths for walking biking. Dog friendly park.

Desoto landings is one of my favorite places to take my out of town guest and kids. The park has beautiful nature trails that take you down to the waters edge. Bring a fishing pole and catch your dinner. The park rangers offer historical information...More

Nice place to visit for a small dose of Florida and the Bradenton area history. Good walking paths and interesting outdoor exhibits. Also available is a short informative program.

History type stop of course...short trail and not really that much to see...couple of exhibits and the trail is just about it. Parking was fine and 3 minutes driving from Robinson Nature Preserve.
