DeSoto Park is the place to be to take a pleasant walk to enjoy nature & water. Several trails to use & always a different view...you feel peaceful & tranquil...not a strenuous walk.

We visited the memorial not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by a park ranger in the museum/gift shop. While the museum is small it provides ample information to the visitors. You can even try on samples of the helmets and armor the soldiers...More

Love going here to walk, to sit by one of the little coves and to explore the Visitor Centre. Fantastic views of the Bay. Very peaceful and relaxing.
