I've hiked all over the world and, as a result, I've been pretty spoiled in seeing some amazing sights. Devils Canyon is beautiful, but I wouldn't put it at the top of the list. Regardless, it's still worth a visit if you're in the area....More

This is a wonderfully maintained BLM trail system with well marked trails and what I believe are some of the most scenic routes in the whole valley. I run these trails three times a week and I know the whole place very well, there are...More

It's helpful to have a map since the trails go in many different loops and some are rather difficult to see how they traverse the area. There are mountain lions who live in the caves along the trails in some areas so keep an eye...More

Originally a "flatlander", I love hikes that are versatile, doable, and gorgeous. Hiking the canyon gives one multitudinous options in terms of ease/difficulty, views and length. You don't like this direction? Just catch the next trail that you come upon and meander. Fun. Fun. Fun.

If you like hiking you'll love Devils Kitchen! It has trails for beginners and experts and the views are absolutely amazing! You would be mesmerized if you could catch a sunrise or sunset on the mountain. The colors glow all throughout the canyon.

We loved this trail system. Friendly to dogs and horses. Wide trails with plenty of options so you could take a different trail each day and not get bored. The views were amazing.

To hike in McGinnins Canyon is a delight no matter which trail you take. I suggest taking the D-3 route to the Miner's Cabin into a spectacular area wear one spur after another terminates right before your eyes. It is truly an amazing sight.
