This is a great loop for hiking or mountain biking. If you do hike here, please be aware that you will be sharing the trail with many mountain bikers. There is room for both. You can see the Colorado River, some great views of canyons...More

Mary's Loop is a mountain bike trail which basically follows the top of Mac Ridge, with the most popular trail head at the Kokopelli trail head, just south of Loma, Colorado. It's a nice, relaxing, trail, without a lot of technical sections. The views from...More

Started out from the Kokopeli Trailhead parking area, and started up Mary's Loop. Lots of slick rock, varied levels of rock drops and swoopy single track. So much fun AND words cannot begin to describe the views from the rim down to the Colorado River....More

This trail is not really a loop - it is a trail that intersects several other trails (Horse Thief, Wrangles, Steve's and Mary's Cutoff) and ends at a jeep road - which will bring you back to the parking area. I am writing this from...More

I rode parts of Mary's Loop yesterday 5/12/16. I have heard that Fruita trails are better than Moab trails. While beautiful views and mostly hard packed dirt / an advanced beginner/ intermediate level, what I didn't like was the lack of signage. There was nothing...More

it seems mountain-bike enthusiasts wax hyperbolically starry-eyed about Moab -- but if you're REALLY "into" mountain-biking -- without being surrounded by acres of lycra and diminishing wilderness (but with, yes, much more magnificent scenery) -- give this area a try. The biking itself is like...More

Seen maybe 2 hikers/runners. Mostly all mountain bikers, you can hike or run though. Spectacular views along the river and some fun riding. Horsethief is a fun extension to this loop. Also check out Moore Fun. Had a blast riding this on my way back...More
