I love dinosaur museums.. The more local stuff the better. This one lacked the local feel so many smaller museums have. The exhibits are nice enough but many I have seen in other museums throughout the west. There are a few local exhibits. There are...More

My son loves visiting when we come to Fruita..its his go to place! Great little gift shop with reasonable prices and just enough to keep them busy in the museum, but not to overwhelm. Great place!

Great price. Great variety. Worth the stop! They have lots of things for small children and robot dinosaurs that are lifelike. They also have a large display room of archaeologists currently working to uncover bones. Very informational, you could spend a little bit of time...More

The price for our tickets was higher than we expected for a museum. We chose to watch a 30-min video about what paleontologists found in the Western Colorado region, prior to seeing the exhibits. I was amazed at how much was dug up in that...More

We were here a year ago and it was great. Came back again a week ago and a few items were in disrepair. The spitting dinosaur is falling apart, several parts of the foarm are falling off and we were sad to see the t-rex...More

Wonderful little museum. We 2 adults spent 1 1/2 hours quickly through the displays. I really enjoyed the less often seen skeletons (every museum seems to have a tyrannosaurus). The animatronics could use a little maintenance but the sounds and spitting are cool. A cute...More

Interesting displays and history of dinosaur bones found specifically in this area. I especially liked the open window into the 'lab' area where peple where working on cleaning bones and artifacts.

I brought my 4 year old daughter here. It was a fun and informative place to visit. The interactive dinosaurs scared her a little bit, other than that it was a great place. If your little ones scare easily, just be aware of that. A...More
