Cute shops

There is not too much to do there but seeing all the shops and seeing the river is very nice. We ate at a great little place and then went to see all the cool houses.

Great place. Been there MANY times. But it is so good that it attracts a crowd so it gets busy, noisy and crowded.

What a beautiful area. Very quaint. Several nice shops to browse in, and a couple great restaurants ranging from cheap eats, to fine dining. Nice area just to walk around in.

After visiting Yorktown battlefield we took a stroll along the waterfront. There were many shops and resteraunts. On clear days you can enjoy watching the ships on the river. Parking across the street is free.

The Riverwalk Landing is well maintained and accessible. There are public restrooms, shops, restaurants, piers, and there is a beach. On the day we visited there were local vendors who were set up selling beautiful and original items and art. We saw fisherman pulling in large perch, boaters and kayakers on the water, and we enjoyed a walk along the... More

This is a well-maintained river front promenade suitable for family waterfront strolling. On sunny days it is excellent for watching ships at dock or in the river.

We first took a trolley tour to get a feel for the area. Then we walked around to the historic area. The Riverwalk Landing is along the York River and is not too long. We stopped at the visitor's center for information and their we also parked our vehicle. There is a fee which can be combined with Jamestown for... More
