Had the opportunity to visit this magnificent theatre in El Paso, Texas while in the concert of Amanda Miguel and Diego Verdaguer. This is a small theatre with a two-story sitting. Seats are comfortable eventhough the place has been around for a long time. It opened back in 1930 and was know as El Paso Showcase. It remained closed several... More

Grand old theatre. Sound quality was exceptional. Seats were comfortable. Atmosphere, outstanding. Only thing was the lobby was uncomfortably warm while we were waiting for the doors to open. We had been to the Eugene O'Neil theater on broadway and the Plaza was better.

As soon as you walk in you are ushered into another time, as if stepping into the 20's or 30's. You are pleasantly... More

Very nice restoration of the interior. Excellent for motion pictures, but the acoustics of live performances a barely acceptable.

I love the Plaza Theater!!! It's one of the greatest things to do in El Paso. The theater is beautiful and they bring great shows to theater. Every seat is a good seat and every show is worth watching.

The Plaza Theater is not only beautiful and a wonderful historic example of a past era. It offers an enjoyable atmosphere for concerts, musicals, etc. We look forward to attending events there.
