We went on our own, no tour. I took a moment to meditate in one of the structures. It was amazing to imagine the history of the ancient Anasazi, the people that may have sat in that very spot!

This is a huge ruin in Chaco Canyon, parts of the main building were 3 stories high. The complexity of the construction and design are awesome. Worth the drive!

It is a great ancient village from 850 ad. It was amazingly intact and great place to walk around and step back in history

The site is very large and has an added bit of interest in that a portion of the cliff above the site collapsed on a portion of the ruin, destroying some of the ruin, but also exposing some ripple marks and a fossil or two...More
