We stopped by and were given VIP treatment. We took a tour of the old houses and pub that included actors to present the information. We got to see a Bowie knife and a lot of the history of the area.

This museum has the best American Indian exhibit I have seen. The other art is interesting but a small collection. Unfortunately, we did not get to tour the buildings.

It's a place unlike you've been to in a long time. History is brought to life no matter your age. Children have activities, adults have treasures to behold, and the whole family has incredible sights to see!

We really enjoyed our visit. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We actually learned alot about life back in the mid 1800s from talking to the interpreters.

This museum has several preserved buildings as a "village". The docent did an excellent job intreperting the site, and the museum had a great exhibit about native americans.
