I absolutely love running across the Big Dam Bridge! The trail is typically full of other walkers and runners on weekends. I always feel very safe. The climb is intense but worth it. There are benches and lookouts at the top.

Great for someone looking for a change of scenery to run or walk. I think there were more interesting bridges throughout Little Rock than this particular one, but if nothing else to do and but visit local landmark, then this would be good.

What a beautiful place to walk across the Arkansas River, it's a large pedestrian bridge! Some wooded areas, bikers welcome. Dogs must be leashed and picked up after. Bathroom facilities are available.

One of the longest pedestrian/bicycle bridges in the country. Scenic views (if you can look past busy I-430) over the Arkansas River. Great place to watch barges go through the locks. Watch out for speeding bicycles!

There are three main parking lots with convenient access to the bridge; two on the south side of the river, and one on the north side of the river. The two to the south are: at the west end of Rebsamen Park just east of the... More
