Parking was very difficult, as we went on Labor Day Weekend. The trail was also busy, but that's to be expected. The hike up was very difficult, and definitely a workout. For more seasoned hikers or just generally fit people, it shouldn't be much of an issue. But if you're not used to walking straight uphill for about an hour,... More

You can't beat this beautiful place to see what all Arkansas has to offer! It's right outside of town so it's worth the drive if you are just a visitor! The hike all the way to the top is a workout! But it's all worth it once you get to the top! There is also a base trail around the... More

We have visited often. Great hike up the mountain! Got a geocache state park "Clue" for the 52 park reward.

Pinnacle Mountain is a great place to go hiking. Your trip is rewarded when you get to the top and have great 360 degree views. Do not forget to stop by on the other side of the mountain to visit the Visitors Center.

Husband, dog, and I trekked up for the second time not long ago. Long enough for exercise but not so long to be miserable. Our dog loved it! Beautiful view of the river! There are lots of different trails you can take depending on what you're looking for, or you can stay in the park area to relax, play games,... More

We really enjoyed this place and had a great hike here. Did both summits (summit trail) and climbed the boulders on the way up. There are different ways to the top, so it doesn't have to be very strenous. We spent a good hour on the trip and also had time to enjoy the views which are amazing. It's also... More

Do not miss this amazing sunset! Instead of taking the easy was up we headed around to the west side and did some great rock scrambling to get to the top...Not for the ill fitted! Catch this place at sunset but be sure to bring a flashlight to get down!

A person can go hike up the mountain or take a walk down the well traveled trails, either one is great. On the trails you can see cypress trees up close and it is a flat walking surface. Take your dog on his leash, he will love it. On the mountain it is quite the hike but worth it, views... More

First stop was the visitor's center where Mrs. Joy was extremely helpful. She had great suggestions of other activities in the area. Gave us great information and pamphlets. She was amazing!!! The hike up to pinnacle point was strenuous and rough. It is very busy with local athletes. Bring plenty of water. It was a beautiful climb but took me... More

Pinnacle State Park is a wonderful natural area just west of Little Rock. There are horseback rides, picnic areas, playgrounds, hiking trails and numerous scenic areas. The Arkansas Arboretum is on site plus a nice visitor center which contains nature exhibits, a wonderful overlook down toward the river (my wife and I really enjoyed the beautiful views from the center...
