We walked from having just viewed the Statue of Liberty from the pier to this Memorial. We walked in silence around it looking at the names and the flowers that marked those with birthdays on that particular day. It reminded us how fragile our lives...More

The architecture is nice but the place itself gives a sad, spooky vibe. Gave the memorial museum a miss for the same reason. p.s. The Oculus next door is an interesting place..

Recommended for anyone visiting NYC. Truly remarkable memorial shining light on the tragedy of 9/11. Despite being from South Africa, I was taken back at how all those who passed were memorialized. Plenty tourists. Safe for persons of all ages and disability friendly.

Any tourist to New York would go to this location. The remembrance pool at the site of the tower that was brought down is extremely striking in it's simplicity. The names of those killed on 9/11 are given all around the vast pool and very...More

Don't know about an outlet mall but there's a beautiful mall within a block but it's quite expensive.
