This statue is located on the edge of Bryant Park and honors the man for whom the park is named. It is underneath its own portico and is surrounded by attractive landscaping. A little gem easy to miss but worth seeing.

William Cullen Bryant (November 3, 1794 – June 12, 1878) was an American romantic poet, journalist, and long-time editor of the New York Evening Post. Bryant Park us behind the Public library. May people don't notice this statue, but it caught my eye.
