Sitting in Barnes and Noble you get a taste of the world. You have people from everywhere dropping in socializing with friends, grabbing a good book, studying with classmates etc. And I get the feeling that these are people who enjoy life...I love being among...More

Thanks to amazon, barnes & noble is becoming a dinosaur. I still like to go to physical bookstores for my books though. There's another store on 5th avenue. I suppose there were scores or dozens in NY in the past

Probably better than the nearby Strand Books for best sellers and new releases, it has a huge range of both fiction and non fiction and good regular author nights. Easy to relax here and wile away an hour or two. You'd be hard pressed not...More

This Barnes and Noble book store is housed in a lovely building and has a huge selection for all. We always find a book when we stop by.

Came back after close to 20 years. The vibe of the place has not changed! This is an amazing bookstore! Just to peruse and even just to absorb the atmosphere is worth a visit.

Amazingly huge amounts of books and knowledge the staff were generous and kind and helped me to find my book. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

If you are looking for a book, a notepad, an audiobook, a coffee, music, bluray you will definitely find your happiness in such a great bookstore. My husband spend hours in The alleys so The coffee inside to enjoy free wifi.

Loved visiting this book store. As a former librarian, I was truly in heaven on the first floor. The second floor was full of toys which, as a grandmother, cost me a few dollars. And the third floor was where I found magazines I wanted....More
