What a great place to worship, to enjoy good music, and to people watch. This 19th century Gothic monstrosity reigns over Columbus Avenue on Manhattan's upper westside. Just a block from Columbus Circle's CNN Headquarters and Trump International Hotel, it is the same distance to...More

Recently went to a mass at this giant church on the upper West side of Manhattan. The building is huge and intimidating but lovely. It's a Catholic church whose mission is to reach out to the young, homeless and underserved. I definitely recommend a visit...More

My wife wanted to see this church because it is part of the “Stations of the Cross” project, and we had already visited two other churches. It has an attractive interior design, but a paucity of windows makes the choir a rather dark and gloomy...More

Glad the church doors were open! Was able to stop in for a bit to enjoy some quiet/prayer time. Small shop open too inside. Walking distance from the Lincoln Center

We stayed a couple of blocks away so when walking by, we couldn't resist having a look inside as the exterior design was spectacular. And as expected the interior was no less impressive. Highly recommended

We came here due to a friend's recommendation. From the exterior we thought it was just another church. Boy were we fooled. Once inside, we were awed by the fantastic art and architecture. For us, it was every bit as great as St. Patrick's but...More
