This is the 3rd time I walked this, first time with my wife. Beautiful walk over traffic, nicely landscaped, with nice vistas, artwork, and architecture every few dozen steps. Only down side this time was the amount of building construction alongside the walk which meant...More

This is a lovely bridge to walk across, with very nice views. It's also right next to the Water Tower and has lots of information about the tower, the bridge, and the history of the water works. It's not too long, only takes about 10...More

This is an amazing walkway that produces some fantastic scenic panoramas of the NYC upper skyline. The area has been rebuilt and the walkway is clean and a pleasure to walk across. What's lost is the significance that the High Bridge played in the mid...More

Who knows about this great historic bridge? The High Bridge offers spectacular views of the Harlem River. It has been recently restored with a beautiful walking path. Take the walking path through High Bridge park rather than the stairway (98 steps).

The High Bridge at the northern tip of Manhattan is alittle bit difficult to reach, especially for tourists that are residing at Mid- or Downtown. But the High Bridge is worth this way. The bridge combines Manhttan and The Bronx; At the Manhattan side you'll...More

This time I walked over the bridge in the summer, and the views are still magnificent -- one can see why this bridge was once a real tourist attraction. If parking were easier, it well become one again. A point of interest; I had always...More
