We got our last minute ticket from our hotel concierge ($127/pp sitting at Mezzanine F row) great view from the top. Shows start at 8pm. It's a huge theater. Before entering there is a security check. Seat was nice & comfortable. 15mins break in between. Some souvenirs sold outside the theater. Toilets were clean & huge. Overall great experience. A... Seeing the Lion King has been on my bucket list ever since I found out it was on Broadway and it did not disappoint! The colors, the acting, the singing, the setting were all great! Loved the energy of the actors and the way they created the Lion King scenes were very creative. We sat in the balcony in the... More

Great show!! We sat in the left floor seating area in an isle seat. Great location no heads blocking our view at all. The actors were awesome!! We loved every minute of the show.

Yes I am 52 years old, been to Africa twice, had seen the Lion King in a middle school production and had never seen it on Broadway. WHAT WAS I THINKING.I cried.! It was magnificent. If I saw this show as a young kid I think I would have been in the set design field. It is something everyone should... More

The Lion King is superb. The sets and lighting make it look like a page right out of a colorful storybook. The singers have the most beautiful voices, the "animals"and characters spend some time out by the audience, and you even get to chuckle once in a while! It's a definite must see if you have kids.

Costumes and music were phenomenal. Orchestra was perfect, drummer was excellent. Old Simba didn't seem great - voice wasn't as solid as others.

Being Disney fans, we had to go see the Lion King and the production did not disappoint. The animals coming by us on the way to the stage was so much fun. The actors, especially the children were the top of their game. We wanted it to last longer. It is easy to see why this production remains a huge... More

I would give this more than excellent if I could. From the moment the musical starts you are swept away in the singing, the characters, the whole production. I loved every minute of it. My six year old daughter was hanging onto the edge of her seat. I would recommend this to everyone and would see it again.

The Lion King on Broadway blew my mind. I didn't think the cast would be able to capture some aspects of the original movie but I was proved wrong. The stampede alone was jaw dropping. Every performer's voice was incredible. The show brought tears to my eyes & I would 100% see the show again. This is one of the... More

Went to see the Lion King for my birthday. The singing was unbelievable and the costumes were phenomenal. Although there are people "playing" animals, with some of the characters being a person holding an animal "puppet" (not sure what the proper terminology is), you easily get lost in the character and do not see the person. I was enchanted from... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
