Our first time to Central Park. Our guide was great. Lots of stories of the park and New York City. The guide was open to questions and he stopped for a few photo stops. Very relaxing ride.

We love carriage rides to learn the history of new areas. Our guide through Central Park spoke with a soft voice that often trailed away. We couldn’t hear much of what he was saying. Throughout the ride, he was joking with other drivers and seemed...More

On visiting NYC, one of the "must-dos" was a carriage ride around Central Park. On arriving in Central Park and approaching the information booth, we were approached by somebody not in any kind of uniform, or apparent ID offering a carriage ride. On suggesting that...More

Booked this in advance but when arriving at Central Park we found a lot of guides didn't want to take us because we had paid in advance. It seems they prefer cash. Finally got a guide after about 15 mins. Unfortunately, although a nice guy,...More

Great visit! We loved strolling through the park. At the time I wasn’t able to walk much due to surgery so this was an excellent way to see a lot without spending energy.

Some take credit, they all take cash. Beware of illegal vendors in the street blocks away from the park with maps in hand. They bait and switch for pedi cab rides.

I think the best thing to do would be to contact New York City Tourist Information Centre and ask them. I hope they can help.
