The wife and I decided to brave the snow drifts and head down and catch the show. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was a mix of percussion and entertaining interaction between performers. Highly recommend. Would also suggest looking for discount codes prior to buying the tickets as it saved us some cash.

I saw Stomp years ago and was sure that my grandson (7 yrs) would now love it. I was right - he was enthralled throughout! The use of everyday items to create percussion music is ingenious and very entertaining. I particularly enjoyed the matchbox scene and the routine with Zippo lighters was amazing. The performers don't speak a word throughout... More

I bought tickets to the show for my husband for our anniversary. He absolute loved it! If you love music and percussion you will love this show. It is also very funny. I wish I could've taken pictures and video but they aren't permitted in the theater. Seats are a little cramped but it's worth it for the show you... More

We went to the theater (in Toronto) for the show mostly expecting a very good music performance, but what we got was amazing! Awesome rhythm, performance, communication with the public and lots of fun!

Amazing show! The performers were amazing! I had never seen anything like it! The theater does not sell any food or beverages other than water. Make sure to use the bathroom before the show starts. There isn't an intermission. The theater is near a lot of bars and restaurants. Easy to find a great place to eat or grab a... More

My family enjoyed Stomp. It is quite affordable compared to other live entertainment in New York. It runs for about an hour and three quarters and involves a group of 8 talented dancers and musicians creating music with everyday items. Tickets are slightly cheaper if bought on line rather at the box office.

My son and husband went to the show. My 15 year old son loved it. He was very excited about it and really enjoyed the show. He would go again. He got to meet 2 of the cast after the show. This was the highlight of his NYC trip.

I took my family to see Stomp since it has been around forever and we hadn't seen it. It was 1:45 - maybe a bit longer than it should be. All talented people and very hard working. I wish they tied a story into it. That would have made it more enjoyable. All in all, it's a good show to... More

Brought my son to see show as a Christmas gift. The show is brilliant and very energetic. The energy level of performers were unbelievable. The interaction with the audience was fun. This is a great family show as well as a show for couples or friends.

Thank Dawn L

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
