The theater is beautiful. It's a small place very tight. I took my grandson who had seen the movie many times. It was very different. Just ok very colorful. We did like it. One security guard outside was was very rude yelling . This is a children's show have some decency. Tickets are pricey.

A show on Broadway itself is such a thing to say youve done but when you get this magnificent spectacle as this it is fantastic. Theater is brilliant very welcoming....the concessions however are way way way overpriced and selection is poor. However, the show itself Aladdin was brilliant the costumes, big numbers, performer's all deliver.

This is such an AMAZING Broadway show! It's a classic Disney story that both adults and children will love. The show had several classic songs and they also added a few new ones which were really good. The costume designs were stunning, colorful and unique. The way they did their costume changes were also so fun! The sets are so artistic and the way they move through different scenes in the play was flawless. The best part of the show was genie's character, he made the show. I felt the chemistry between the 2 leads was a little off in the beginning but by the end it felt like they were more in sync. This was an epic broadway show and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is interested.

This musical show is amazing! The cast (as of March 2024 at New Amsterdam Theater) is fabulous and they perform like a dream, with great assistance of music and sets. Genie (Scott) and Aladdin (Maliakel) are great combination, together with Jafar (Hart) and Iago (Rivera) and Jasmine (Balsara), it’s almost perfect (like Mary Poppins). So many gimmicks (of course, it’s Genei!) and so many exotic atmospheres and so many beautiful dances make the performance so enjoyable from age 10 to 100 (maybe more). This is my second time to watch the show (another one was in Japanese, in Tokyo, by Shiki, which I also had a great time). The theme is simple yet universal, and it tells how friendship, freedom and liberty are important, above the law which is made by a man but the earlier ones are created by something divine, or much more important. Very entertaining yet thought provoking. Highly recommended.

Amazing show ! The cast is are so talented (the genie was our favourite) and the music, staging, prop's and orchestra are top notch. Love the subtle nods to other Disney films throughout aswel. A must see while in New York!

Entertaining and recommended. I thought any number the Genie showed up, were really good and entertaining. I didn’t much like Aladdin or Princess singing too much. Good for kids… they will enjoy especially if they’d seen the movie. Buy ticket at the venue, will save digital fees (go walk over there the day or couple days before your preferred dates.. and research online first what seats are availabe, same ones are there as online at the venue)… Recommended

It was such a nice evening ! Very beautiful show with nice people, costums, lyrics and music and decor! It is an explosion of color ! It is clearly a must see show if you are in broadway the theater is superb ! The genius is excellent !

Incredible show in a beautiful venue...for both kids (ages 6+) and adults. You won't be disappointed. The New Amsterdam Theatre is located at 214 West 42nd Street in NYC. Booster seats area available for the littles. The theatre staff is incredibly helpful. Get your snackies in advance of the show, because the lines can be long at intermission.
