I can think of many worse ways to spend $3 in NYC. The kids begged to go on the carousel and actually had a blast. It's a simple carousel, but they really enjoyed it because it was in the heart of Central Park and a unique experience for them in the city.

The fact that I had to pay an additional $3 to stand next to my not even two year old while she rode this is ridiculous. Trump is netting nearly a $90k per month profit on this thing already. That said, it's a great carousel. Authentic and pretty. Although we spent five years in France where the carousels are much... More

Although we have been to Central Park many times, we had never taken time to go to the carousel. It will now be on the itinerary for every trip. 5 minutes of great fun for $3.00! The horses are gorgeous. Over 100 years old and immaculately maintained. Highly recommend for kids young or old.

In the middle of Central Park is a carousel. Lots of fun to write an American around whether you're a kid or an adult. And certainly in a super good setting. And only three dollars.

We spent the afternoon wandering the park, but one of the predetermined stops was the "as seen in movies" carousel. My cousin and I are over 30, but that didn't stop us picking or horses and taking our turn around and around. We felt very childish again. What fun!

For $3 you get a nice ride on an iconic carousel. The wait was short and it was a long ride.My son loved it.

I can't say enough good things about central park. My partner and I spent a good solid four hours in the park and we weren't even able to do the whole park. The scenery was incredible. Lots of people and lots of dogs as well. I was wondering where the dogs were!

We enjoyed a short walk into the park and easily found the carousel. What a lovely piece of art. I enjoyed the fine detail of the carved horses and the horses in the fences. The ride was fun, cheap ($3) and quite long.
