I've been fortunate enough to attend NYCC every year since 2010, and the Javits Center is quite a place for it to be. This convention center is enormous! As large as it is, I've always been impressed with how clean it is kept, even while there are thousands of people there at one time. The food in the food courts... More

I've exhibited here, and attended a number of exhibits, some of which come every year like an excellent travel exhibition early in the year and others that occur only rarely. The most recent was a major philatelic exhibit, which had many wonderful booths appealing to stamp collectors. I worked at the Scandinavian Club exhibit one day, and was very impressed... More

Great trade show Venu; just across Lincon tunnel. Had a good time with friends at the HX trade show.

Very nice and large exhibition hall. Located in very strategic place in the city. Easy to access. Clean and modern design, large windows make a nice city view from inside the building. Good choice for exhibitions and shows.

I love attending expos at the Javitz Center in NYC. Why? They just know how to put on an event. The Javitz is massive but as an attendee you never feel overwhelmed as you walk the aisle when you attend an expo here. I think it really has a lot to do with their layout plan. I was recently at... Came here for New York Comicon and found the place fun and easy to move around. Everything was labelled and there was guides to help you find your way around. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to go there.

Great place for scooter rental for at the convention Tip: you can reserve it before con or the day of con. We did a lot of seeing of booths the scooter was fully charged and I would rent one again.

As a conference center, Javitz is impressive. 4 levels of food and impressive ceiling height makes for an airy feel. It is a self contained little city and needs to be because it is far from the center of Manhattan. If you want to eat off site know that it will take a bit of walking.

I come here for ComicCon, and it always tries its best. It's at full capacity for the event, and this year events spilled over to Madison Square Garden. I wish that there was more seating available - by the end of the day, everyone's exhausted and wants to sit down, but there's no enough space. Otherwise, the facility is clean... More

The convention center is conveniently located near a #7 train stop. Depending on where you are coming from it may be easier for you to take a train to 33/34 street (closer to Madison Square Garden) and walk down to the center about 1 mile away. It is a really nice walk when the whether is nice. The center is... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
