Music great, hosting appalling

I really don't know how to score this place; on the one hand some of singers (and pianist) are phenomenally talented; on the other a couple of them are downright rude We had a... read more

Where to begin? This place is SO much fun... The place gets going around 9pm.. We stayed until midnight. There was no cover charge, just a two drink minimum.. Our waitress Tara sang and she is beyond talented!!!! I hope u can get to see her!! This is fun for all generations.. The gentleman who was playing the piano was... More

Being a fan of piano bars, this was a must on my NYC to do list. It didn't disappoint! Visited after an evening performance of HELLO DOLLY with Bette Midler so we were well up for some more live entertainment. Had a great evening. Terrific atmosphere. Pianist was very talented on the keys & vocals. The singing waitresses were also... More

A meal with old friends. One bottle of wine too many. It's Saturday night. Someone says 'Piano bar'. Someone else says 'Don't Tell Mama'. I think hangover . Short taxi ride. They have a table. It's narrow, it's packed. It's as I remember. The pianist, the personality, the quality, the fun. More wine, happy faces. We're singing Sweet Caroline 10... More

Amazingly talented bartenders/waiters and waitresses take turns belting out broadway tunes. A fun night out.

We arrived in here due to the singer. The service wasn't great but prices were reasonable for happy hour. It was a very nice thought when the singer sang a few Scottish songs just for us and her appreciation. Dad loved it

I really don't know how to score this place; on the one hand some of singers (and pianist) are phenomenally talented; on the other a couple of them are downright rude We had a great night, largely due to the fact we were seated close to some lovely people and by and large the quality of the entertainment was superb.... After visiting NYC several times over the years I was beginning to fear the Apple had given over its Midtown iconic 42nd street spirit of music and artistic nighttime soul to the Broadway Babies of mediocrity, until last night. Visited the lengendary oasis of gastronomy and entertainment last night with a British actress, producer friend who lives here and was... More

Recently dined here and was pleasantly surprised. In fact, we almost walked right by due to the name. I am so glad we chose to eat here. What a hidden gem. The food was delicious... definitely get the homemade garlic bread. There was a back room with the piano bar as well as a live band playing and the front... More

If you're going to the theatre, walk a few blocks beyond the chains at Times Square to Restaurant Row. This is a delightful small place, with a varied menu and friendly staff. We only were in the restaurant; apparently, they also have a lively piano bar with singing. A very good choice before the theatre.

Called in for a drink during happy hour, perhaps we were early but the bar was empty and It felt a little downtrodden, perhaps a bit later there is more atmosphere, it was a pity because it had been recommended to us

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
