Wasted time and money waiting for Karaoke to start only to find it isn't really Karaoke. You have to do the sort of songs they want. Who do you think you are mr customer!

If you're in New york city and want to watch the world cup this is a great place (sportsbar) to watch, especially if you're supportering the dutch. We watched the quarter finals netherlands costa rica, it was an amazing game and watching it with hundreds of other 'oranje' supporters is awsome. Entrance is free, be there 2 hours in advance... On our first night in the city, during our last trip, we looked for a bar open late to get our city feet back and pause after hours spent on planes and airports. Tonic Bar was recommended by the Hilton Time Square staff and proved to be just what we needed, a bustling place to crash and have a coupe... More

This is a bar not an attraction. I was staying across the street and stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. The service was pretty bad but the food was tasty, good sandwiches. I recall asking a few times where my server was and for the price your paying, i guess your paying for the location and not... More

Waitress can't even look you in the eye, they are rude and lazy ....horrible choice...waste of money ..don't expect them to give advice if your not from around NYC.... They will give you a half worded answer in 3 seconds....very bad service and overpriced....

It was a fun atmosphere and great karaoke bar. Drinks we NYC priced but no cover charge. We didn't eat but the food that was coming out looked good. I would go back.

Reasonably priced bar, just off Times Square, open late enough to party without having to go too far if based near Times Square. Informal approach to kareoke, great staff and a generally awesome night out.

We had a living social deal we wanted to use for dinner that I had bought before our trip to New York. When we arrived we were told we were not allowed to sit at a table. Then the bouncer told us we were not allowed upstairs & we either needed to get a drink or leave. I believe because... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
