The space is designed with comfort in mind. All visitors can find things to do and never be just bored waiting for show to start or killing time in the intermission. We went again and this time was 42FT outstanding circus show, that they carefully crafted for the sensory vunrable kids and adults. The staff and the atmosphere engaged with the context right away and the show was amazing success. I highly recommend for all age entertainment lovers and is definitely our family favorite spot to visit.

The New Victory Theater is a true family theater that has all that magic that this kind of theater should have. The interior is a combination of a modern lobby where kids can participate in arts activities with the stuff or family before and after shows, and the elaborately decorated interior of the seating and stage that are rebuild to be much the way it looked at the beginning of the 20th century. The show that we saw is RE:PLAY. We were blown away with the imagination, emotions, and the magic of shape shifting that 4 actors presented us. And mind you- with no words or music. The show and the theater are a must!!

The show is for kids 8+
I am not a kid but I was enjoying that show very much. I was experiencing something unusual and wonderful. It is hard to explain but the show gives you a lot to think about, e.g. friendship, love, humanity.
I strongly recommend it!!!

It was an absolute pleasure to visit the New Victory theatre on our visit to NYC. It is a tremendous theatre for families with great seating, very friendly and attentive staff, activities for the young before and after the show also providing opportunities to meet the cast of the show which is very inspirational. We saw Emily Brown and the Thing. An excellent show from Tall Stories of the UK with a fabulous cast of 3. This theatre is a must visit and is excellently positioned just off Broadway on 42 street.

The theater has been renovated to be the home for HPCC and it shows... Hogwart's themed carpet, a Patronus Room, lighting in the auditorium that's reminiscent of candles floating in the Main Hall, faux brick and wood panels on the walls and ceiling... very cool.

The show was good, if a bit longer than it probably needed to be, but how else do you justify spreading it over 2 performances? The special effects are wonderful, but I won't spoil them for you.

We enjoyed Circus Abyssinia, the show and the performers were engaging. We always love the shows at this theater. The location is perfect. My son enjoyed the activities before the show. We come here a lot and look forward to seeing additional shows in 2019.

Just returned from a fantastic show. Family wanted to see a Broadway show but did not want to pay a fortune and wanted something suitable for our kids 13 and 9. The show was very simple and very funny. Great interaction with the audience. Before the show there were games, story telling and music by the staff with the kids. Even the cafe was good value 6 USD for 2 hot chocolate's and a water. The tickets were $17 each. Absolute bargain the theatre us all about making the arts accessible for children and it does a wonderful job. Position is just if Broadway next to the Harry Potter and other shows costing 10x more. We went sat night and amazingly there were spare seats. Even without kids this was really good 11 out of 10

If you wanted to imagine the perfect theatre for families and young children, it would be the New Victory Theatre.

The staff are all well trained to look after children and families and are kind and patient.

There are free activities from the moment you walk through the door and even after the show has finished.

The auditorium is small and smart, with a classic look. The public areas are bright, colourful and easy for families to navigate. We felt very welcome and safe. The children could move around freely without us having to stay glued to them.

The cafe furniture and menu is designed around children. Portions are small, food is simple, healthy and tasty, prices are low and it’s easy to mix and match without spending a fortune.

We saw ‘Air Play’ which was spellbinding and, at just under an hour, just the right length for kids’ attention spans. We had chance to meet the performers after the show which was fantastic.

Smaller children can borrow booster cushions for free in the auditorium.

Email/website communications prior to the show help you make the most of your visit.

We love this place. You will too. This is theatre with a big heart.

We saw a performance of Airplay here during the first week of April. This was our first trip to the theater and our five year old and seven year old had a great time. We arrived before the show and enjoyed some activities on the lower level. There are lockers available too. The theater itself is really intimate and we enjoyed great views from row M on the main floor of the theater. The ushers passed out booster cushions which helped improve the view for my younger daughter.

Airplay was a phenomenal show! My wife and I had just as much fun as the kids!
