Have always been around the area, but never took the time to check out NYU's "campus" here in the Village. I prefer a traditional college rural campus to city campuses. It was cool to see some of the buildings, but you can't help but feel...More

Visited with my son who is considering applying to the school. Definitely register for tours on line. They will try to accommodate you if you didn't, but no guarantees. Our tour was packed and I don't know how they could have taken any more. First...More

This is not really a campus in the traditional definition. Rather it is Manhattan, centered in Greenwich building and landmarked by Washington Square and Union Square. If you enjoy New York City you will enjoy strolling through this NYU area.

I visited New York University in December 2016. Since I got my MBA from NYU it was a trip down memory lane. My purpose was to take a Chinese NYU MBA student out to lunch and give her career advice. So before I met her,...More

NYU was relatively small until a decision was made to expand and it has grown at an alarming rate by grabbing up buildings, empty lots and theaters and growing. It has changed the Washington square area not always for the better but is a big...More

Beautiful and fun to visit. It is bordered by Washington Square Park - a very colorful part of NYC. I loved this place as a student and then as a faculty member. There are so many new and beautiful buildings. The Kimmell Student Center and...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
