Happened to be in NY on a Wednesday afternoon and thought I'd see a matinee. Well did I get lucky as I was able to see To Kill A Mockingbird before the opening date of 12/13/2018 with Jeff Daniels. The cast is AWESOME!!!!!! and Jeff...More
To Kill a Mockingbird was voted the number one book on PBS’s America Reads. Harper Lee’s classic tale of intolerance and lies set in Macomb, Alabama in 1934 is frighteningly true today in an atmosphere promoting xenophobia and racial hatred. The plot is simple. A...More
I saw "To Kill a Mockingbird" here this week. It's still in previews and was wonderful but my seat in the mezzanine was terribly uncomfortable. There is absolutely no legroom. My knees were tight against the seat in front of me. I could feel the...More

Love the Shubert!! I don't think there is a bad seat in the theatre. It is a beautiful theatre and there is nothing like a live show on Broadway. Then, add seeing Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce!! It was spectacular!!! I only wish that...More
Been there this week and saw Donna Murphy’s last presentation as the beloved Dolly Levi.
The show itself was magical- almost brought me to tears in the end, knowing it was Donnas farewell. The cast was spectacular!

Great experience at the Shubert theatre seeing Bette Midler in Hello Dolly. Yes the seating is close and there is never any leg room but all theatres are the same. The view from anywhere in the theatre is spot on and you enjoy your experience...More
